  • Aditi Bhogal

Aditi is a life sciences and healthcare professional who has her Barre certification. Having completed her barre certification at the movement, she lives to combine low impact, high rep therapeutic movements with a good beat to design a workout for your mind, body, and soul. She believes movement is medicine and has seen the power of movement transforming lives for many, including herself. She is passionate about science, wellness, and community and often finds herself “geeking” about why our bodies do what they do. In her free time she loves cuddling with her puppy, reading, and adventuring outdoors: hiking, biking, or paddle boarding.

  • Eileen Cary

To Eileen, reiki is magic! She is a Usui reiki master and feels blessed every day to be a conduit of this powerful healing energy. Being raised in a home that practiced natural healing, she was introduced to and taught numerous types of energetic healing techniques. In 2000 she began working in a chiropractic office and in 2004 became a chiropractic assistant. She has been surrounded by and given the opportunity to work with doctors of chiropractic, homeopathic doctors, massage therapists, and energy healers throughout her adult life. This experience has given her a strong belief in the body's innate ability to heal itself. Out of the many hands-on healing techniques, Eileen has learned, reiki made the biggest impact, having been a huge asset for her own mental and physical health. Since being certified in 2014, Eileen has been sharing reiki "magic" with as many people as she can. Nothing makes her happier than being able to assist her clients in cultivating their own natural healing ability, whether for relaxation, decreasing anxiety or pain, or simply raising their vibrational energy.

Eileen's yoga journey began in 1998 as a way to ease debilitating anxiety. Yoga gave her the ability to calm her mind and body in a way nothing else had. Because of this, she fell in love with the practice, and it became a part of her daily life.

In 2019, she earned her RYT-200 at the Prancing Peacock, so she could share the peace and tranquility that yoga gave her with others. In 2020 she became Yin certified through Travis Elliot and received a second certification through Sally Miller in 2022. Being deeply interested in healing the mind and body naturally, Yin has easily become Eileen's favorite style of yoga. Yin gets into the fascia of the body, that connective tissue where we hold stuck trauma and emotion, allowing it to release and heal. You will always find her sprinkling reiki into her yoga classes. She considers it an added power boost in calming the nervous system. When you come to one of Eileen's classes, it doesn’t matter whether you are super flexible or you can barely touch your toes. She will show you that yoga always meets you exactly where you are.

Tiffany lives a life of deep spiritual connection. As a Krsna Bhakta, she has a strong sadhana of studying sacred texts such as Bhagavad Gita, Bhagavata Purana and Chaitanya Caritamrta. She is a Usui Reiki Master and a Four Winds trained Shaman who has received all of the Munay-Ki healing rites. As an Energy Reader she uses her connection to the supernatural world to do readings that help others connect with the energy around them and use it to their benefit. As an Herbalist she uses her abilities to communicate with the natural world and help others lead healthier lives. Her classes are filled with a deep sense of joy, reverence and love that create an atmosphere of strength and self-discovery. She encourages students to listen to their bodies, make their practice their own and channel their energy toward positive intentions.

She enjoys teaching in various environments which allows her to connect with people from many backgrounds and fulfill her desire to help make the world a better place. Following her path as a suburban mystic and healer, Tiffany has created a life of serenity and happiness. Going with the flow of the universe has enabled her to live in the moment with deep gratitude. Her goal is to help others attain that as well and experience the abundance that results from it.

  • Emily Doherty

    Emily Doherty

Emily, a Chicago-born and raised yogini with over a decade of deep-rooted personal practice, found her calling to become a certified yoga instructor in 2022 – completing a 250-hour RYTT with Open Center Yoga in Lower Bucks County.

Inspired by the ancient wisdom of yoga, Emily's classes bring her students on a journey. Her creative, fluid-like sequences blend traditional yoga poses with modern interpretations, guiding students towards a deeper connection with their body and mind. This journey includes mantra, light chimes for sound healing, and extended reflection to foster a sense of peace and inner awareness.

Rooted in the mantra 'Om so Hum' – a sacred chant that translates simply to 'I am that' encapsulates the interconnectedness we all share with the universe. Emily is dedicated to helping students find their inner self (the Atman), release what no longer serves, and integrate the transformative benefits of yoga into their daily lives.

  • Jennifer Galgano

Yoga has been a part of Jen's life for over 20 years beginning with classes to counter the effects of years of daily strenuous workouts and her time as a collegiate and semi-professional athlete. After encountering numerous injuries within her practice Jen recognized the importance of creating a more sustainable yoga practice.

Fueling the desire to bring this type of practice to others Jen has been on a journey studying functional anatomy and movement within yoga. Jen has completed a 300hr Functional Yoga Advanced Teacher Training and earned a certificate as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES). In addition, Jen holds certifications in vinyasa yoga (200hr), prenatal yoga (100hr) and postnatal/postpartum yoga. She is currently enrolled in a year long embodied anatomy mentorship.

Jen’s classes provide students the space to cultivate an embodied experience which allows them to notice, sense, and feel what is happening on the inside with a sense of curiosity, playfulness, and compassion. She views yoga as a tool to help us move better and feel better in everyday life. Jen's classes are intentionally designed incorporating functional movements, corrective exercise techniques, and a balance of both strength and mobility. In addition to the physical practice, a focus on the breath is used to strengthen the mind-body connection.

  • Wren

Wren is a certified yoga instructor earning her 200hr YTT September 2020 through Lahari Yoga.

Wren’s yoga and mindfulness path began 6 years ago while traveling for work with Olympic level show jumping horses, her interest in taking classes at near by studios only grew to better her mental health and finding a physical release from things that no longer served her. Wren’s personal practice developed over time into a profound love for yoga (the medicine she always needed.) Yoga not only helped her find peace during difficult times, but it also deepened her capacity for love, joy and compassion. Wren brings sunshine in her pockets and an inspiring sense of self everywhere she goes on her never-ending journey as a student of yoga. Her classes are intended to celebrate the body. And perhaps more importantly, to have fun! She believes that a mindful yoga practice extends beyond the mat and is infused in everything we do. In her classes you can expect to be safely guided through breath/body alignment with a focus on self love and compassion. After class, her hope is to have offered opportunities to challenge oneself in the anticipation of having you leave her feeling calmer and more in touch with your body. Reminding you to not forget that the real practice transcends the mat.

In Wren’s down time she feels most aligned with herself while coffee in hand indulging in a hike with her french bulldog Moe, trout fishing, collaborating with other creatives, and uninhibitedly dancing to music in her kitchen while cooking.

  • Sophia Heller

Wholly human and wholly spirit, I, Sophia, am guided by a desire to let my heart guide my life. I value freedom and connection most, not only with humans but with myself and all who reside here. My favorite place to be is anywhere outside, preferably barefoot and singing, and ideally with water and good friends nearby. I believe that creativity is a core characteristic of being human and I can often be found writing poetry or musings about life, playing guitar, rearranging my room, or cooking up a delicious meal. It's with great joy and respect that I see my own life as my greatest creative offering. I hope to inspire those around me to tap into their own unwavering source of joy, playfulness, creativity, and inner peace.

When Yoga and mindfulness came into my life, it was the first time I sat in a classroom and the teachings actually made sense. I have always been driven by a desire for external peace and harmony, and for the first time Yoga directed me to look inwards and reflect on how I could create more of that peace I craved within myself. It is truly an honor to hold space for folks to move and connect inwards with their bodies and spirits through the practice of Yoga. My classes tend to be gentle and grounding, leaning on aspects of traditional Hatha Yoga, restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga therapy, and intuitive movement.

  • Debra Jackson

Debra has been studying Tai Chi since 2015 and teaching since 2018. Debra’s classes focus on breathing as the foundation, and the natural pairing of breath with movement. Breathing is not only the foundation of life; it is also the portal to being fully present in each moment. It enables one to calm the mind and focus, and to find better flow and greater harmony. Debra also incorporates meditation, chi gong and inspiration from yogic philosophy and studies into her classes.

Debra has earned her 1st Degree Black Sash and still studies under the tutelage of Sifu Tony Jackson and Grand Master (SiGung) Norman Smith. During her studies, she has learned various Styles and forms of Tai Chi: Yang Style 10, 16, 24, and 40 Step Forms; 32 Step Straight Sword; 18 and 32 Fan Forms; 108 Step Traditional Yang Family Form and 52 Step Traditional Yang Family Straight Sword Form. She is currently working on her 2nd Degree Black Sash where she has learned Traditional Sun Style 98 Form and Sun Style Traditional Straight Sword. She is currently learning 48 Combination Step Form and 48 Combination Step Broadsword Form (combination styles of Yang, Sun, Wu & Chen styles).

She is a certified yoga teacher, completing her 200-hour teacher training at Honor Yoga in Pennington, NJ. She has completed her 500-hour teacher training with Prana Yoga Shala in Princeton, NJ. As with Tai Chi, her yoga practice is a foundation from which she lives; it is a way of being.

  • Barbara Kates

Barbara recently moved back to the Yardley area after having lived in Boston where she raised her 2 daughters. She received her 200 RYT and her Level 1 Meditation training in 2019. Barbara started as a student at Seva and transitioned to teaching soon after. Barbara will often share an experience and how the practice has helped her get through the day or a difficult time, hoping to connect in a way that her students will feel they are not alone. The practice will bring them time to unclutter their minds and refresh their spirit leaving a class feeling renewed. Her favorite part of class is observing the arrival of students as they begin their practice with breath and as they end their practice with the stillness of savasana.

    .

Outside of yoga Barbara works at a plant nursery where she cares for plants. She takes classes with other teachers to deepen her practice and pass on what she has learned. “Yoga is part of my life and I will never not practice. I practice maintaining my physical and mental health, find some spirituality and connect to the Seva community. I hope my teaching helps my students to find the same or whatever it is they are looking for.”

  • Lucas Kelly

A long time interest in meditation and mindfulness became the foundation for Lucas’s interest in yoga, but it was a devastating back injury that made the final decision to make asana a regular part of his life. The doctor who performed his surgery met him after the procedure and made a life changing comment “If you don’t want to be back here again, get into a regular yoga practice.”

As an artist Lucas’s work has always involved aspects of visualization. Broadly construed, Lucas’s work is an exploration of memory, its fragility, and its reconstructive nature.

His interest in memory brought him to the Penn Center for Neuroaesthetics where he became their first Artist in Residence. There Lucas worked with neuroscientists to greater understand how our brains process aesthetics. Lucas is interested in connecting visualization, mindfulness, aesthetics, and well being in his practice. During his time at UPenn he also developed the visual arts courses for the Perelman School of Medicine’s medical humanities program, where he taught part time until opening Seva Yoga in 2021.

In the arts, Lucas’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the United States and throughout Europe and Asia. His work has been included in multiple solo and group shows.

Lucas sees his practice as a combination of these varied experiences in the arts, medicine, and mindfulness. More than the shapes we make in a pose, he is concerned with what we are feeling in a pose, in all the ways we feel. While that might sound odd coming from an artist, he has always seen his visual arts practice in the same way. He also sees his practice as a social mission of service to “do good work.”

Lucas has a specific interest in yin yoga and meditation, completing numerous trainings in both with a number of teachers.

  • Jess Kramer

Jess started practicing yoga at the age of 15 as a way to alleviate anxiety but the physical benefits of the practice quickly became prominent. In 2014, she completed a 200 hour vinyasa yoga training program followed by a 300 hour advanced training at the Prancing Peacock in Yardley, PA. She has also trained in yin yoga, restorative, meditation and yoga nidra. Having explored martial arts along with yoga, Jess is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor and is currently developing a yoga program for BJJ.

Jess believes the stillness we find in the yoga practice is a perfect compliment to the yang forces of our culture, bringing balance and longevity to our lives. Through svadyaya, yoga gives us an opportunity to explore deeper layers of our own consciousness, bridging the gap between the experiences of our inner landscape and our outer world.

Jess is also a Reiki Master and subtle body energy worker and finds this work to be a key piece to deepening connection to spirit. Through this practice she was led to an extensive study of the chakra system, the Koshas and the yamas and niyamas of yoga. She believes it is part of her service to guide students to deeper connections with themselves and spirit, clearing confusion and gaining clarity to who you are as a whole being.

Kristin's path to yoga began during her time at West Chester University, where she studied Geosciences while minoring in dance. However, the full depth of yoga's benefits didn't fully resonate with her until later in life.

Later in 2017, Kristin completed the Mindful Yoga for Cancer Training at Duke Integrative Medicine, a pivotal moment that deepened her understanding of yoga's therapeutic benefits. • Judy Moncrief

In the most awkward downward facing dog you can imagine, along with 50 or so others at a YWCA in Pennsylvania, almost 24 years ago I started my yoga journey. Even though I wasn’t “good at it,” I was so intrigued by the calm manner of my Chinese friend who introduced me to the practice (not to mention that this very muscular man could balance on his hands and bring each leg over each shoulder so that he looked like some kind of walking bird), that I just had to discover more about this ancient form of mind/body/spirit practice.

From that first “Y” practice, I embraced yoga. I attended intensives and trainings focusing on the many facets of yoga, in addition to private lessons. Initially my practice was focused on the physical benefit yet I found I gained so much more, such as mental clarity, improved self-esteem, flexibility—both physically and emotionally, and endurance in other athletic endeavors, all resulting in a greater sense of personal peace.

I became Anusara 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified in 2008 at Kula Yoga Shala with Scott Feinberg in Jupiter, FL, in addition to a subsequent 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification in 2012 with Mark Stephens at Eugene Yoga in Oregon. I opened “Flowing Grace Yoga” studio in Joseph, OR in 2012 but decided to return to Florida and teach at Kula Yoga Shala and other private studios in Florida in 2013. I’ve been teaching consistently since 2008 and enjoy sharing my practice with the communities in which I’ve lived.

I am very blessed and grateful to be able to share my yoga practice with all the souls I have met on the mat.

  • Chalise Saunders

I began my yoga journey at the age of twelve at the recommendation from my doctor to treat my scoliosis. I practiced at home to some yoga videos for years until I found my way to my first hot yoga studio. While I didn't enjoy my first class, I decided to come back because of how good I felt immediately afterwards. After two years of a consistent practice, I decided to become a teacher, so I could share this beautiful practice with the world. I believe that yoga is for everyone and I seek to learn all that I can about the different lineages.

Rebekah's classes bring together a mix of vinyasa, Pranayama, and meditation. She aims to cultivate classes that are suitable for all levels of yogis. When she's not at the yoga studio, she is practicing balancing her full time job and spending time with her husband and two boys.

  • Michelle Stein

I started my Yoga journey ten years ago in a charming boutique yoga studio near my home in Pennington, NJ. After spending many years in a gym setting and feeling like I wasn’t getting anywhere, I knew I needed to transition toward something more meaningful. What I was doing outwardly wasn’t translating inwardly. I needed to figure out a way to find myself and become a more meaningful representation of who I really am.

My first yoga class was a very humbling experience and the owner of the studio emitted a glowing energy that I wanted for myself. My attraction toward her light is what drew me into Yoga because I wanted that for myself. She led my 200 hour YTT in 2015 at Honor Yoga in Pennington, NJ and in 2018 I completed my 300 hour YTT in Atlanta, GA.

For me, yoga is about finding the balance between ease and effort, strength and flexibility, exertion and releasing. My classes combine both strength and mobility in a dynamic Vinyasa Flow Style. Expect to flow, breathe and sweat.

  • Lindsay Turk

Lindsay began her yoga journey after graduating college as a way to bring balance to her mind and body. The instant and constant effects were monumental; Yoga has been in her life ever since! After years of practicing, she wanted to expand her knowledge by taking the teacher training program.

In 2018 she received the 200-Hour Teacher Certification with Cathy Frank at Yogasphere. She received an 85-Hour Prenatal Yoga Certification in 2021 from Arhanta Yoga Academy. Starting in 2011 she has received a Reiki One and Reiki Two attunement and incorporates energy work throughout class.

Lindsay holds space for yoga to be a deeply personal and community practice where students can work on their physical and emotional health. Her classes are structured with creative sequencing where students can explore poses in a safe and lighthearted environment. Instead of focusing on the perfect form of the pose we focus on feeling good. Lindsay is honored to share her love for yoga and bodywork with students.

When Lindsay isn’t on her mat, she is spending time with her husband, son, and dog, Arnold.

They like being active and outdoors all year round!

In the little free time she has, Kirsten enjoys spending quality time with her husband and 2 sons, hiking with her 2 dogs, and visiting her family back in Arizona.

  • Battle Witherington

    Battle Witherington

For over 10 years, Battle Witherington has been teaching an uplifting style of yoga to people of all abilities.  As a lifelong dancer, she developed a physical consciousness that has fueled her interest in fitness and wellness. This interest inspired her to complete 200HR teacher training with Sri Dharma Mittra in New York City in 2011 and her 500HR training with her dear friend and mentor, Sheryl Light with Open Studio NC. The true importance of yoga began to take on a new meaning as she shared her passion with others.

Battle’s mission is to inspire students by creating an inviting, energetic vibe that enhances yoga practice on and off the mat. She offers high energy guidance that involves a strong vinyasa flow to challenge and balance the body. She genuinely loves seeing how people benefit from building strength, increasing flexibility and overall self-awareness. Her light and humorous approach eases and inspires, ultimately cultivating a community of laughter, kindness, strength and joy.

Battle lives in Yardley with her husband and dog, Coral. She also enjoys hiking, biking, cooking and fixing up her old Victorian house. On pretty days, you may find her sitting on her front porch overlooking Main Street.

  • Karolina Zbaski

Karolina’s yoga journey started in 2016 as a means to add more yin to her yang lifestyle. Originally a science illustration major, Karolina incorporates her love of the technical into the spiritual, oftentimes finding the greatest inspiration for her personal practice in the liminal spaces between. Over the years she has included meditation and tai chi into her everyday life and found a deep reverence for everything contemplative and vulnerable. Karolina completed her 200 YTT in September of 2022 through YogaRenew and is currently working towards a 30 hour Yin training at Seva with Sally Miller. Her classes range from formal vinyasa to slow flow yin fusion and everything in between. When taking her class you can not only expect a great deal of physical work but mental work as well, linking breath with movement and finding peace on the most hectic of days. When Karolina is not teaching, you can find her nose buried in a book or her sketch book (which she carries with her everywhere) or at the gym.
